Hello again! I found the trailer for the short-lived TV show, The Roaring Twenties, that Katie starred in. You can view it on Youtube. The images move very fast so I wasn’t sure if who I saw was really Katie (the heavy eye makeup and low quality video don’t help either). I added screen captures to the gallery anyway- so judge for yourself! The show, I think, aired in January 2008.
Four video clips from yesterday’s episode have been added to the site. The video page contianing all the videos is also up! I also added a clip of next week’s episode preview. Click on the thumbnails to get to the video page!
I was so excited to watch the second episode of Merlin. I loved all the Arthur/Morgana moments. I made nearly 200 screen captures of Katie for the gallery. Clips from the episode will be up soon! Next episode is called The Mark of Nimueh and will star Michelle Ryan.
Believe it or not, the first volume of Merlin can be pre-ordered on DVD. I think the first three episodes are on it, but I could be wrong! Please visit this site for information. Meanwhile, be sure to catch episode 2 tonight if you live in the UK! Expect more screencaps and videos!

Edit - Amazon.co.uk says that the set includes just one disc and the first six episodes.
Hello everyone. I finally got around to making a video of Katie’s guest appearance on The Tudors. The latter half of the video contains some adult content, so please do not download if you are offended or not old enough! The other video I uploaded is the trailer for Freakdog. Again, the trailer has mature content (including language). Katie appears very briefly. Click on the thumbnails below to download.
First of all, I discovered that I did save the old layout after all. I thought it was deleted. I still need to fix things, but I am glad to have a title graphic again! I added two new stills from the Merlin official website to the gallery. Katie is in the background of both of them. I would also like to remind people that this site is best viewed with Firefox!
As far as I can tell, critics seem to be divided when it comes to the Merlin pilot (it averaged 6.6 million viewers). This particular article from TV Scoop had something nice to say about Katie.
Katie McGrath proved an inspired choice as Morgana, her representation of beauty with a hint of menace concealed not very far beneath the surface was pitch-perfect.
The site is still very much under construction. I put the video clips from the last post on our very own Youtube account in case anyone woulf prefer to watch them streaming (they will also be available for download on the site). If you have an account, please subscribe to get the latest clips! Also, someone has informed me that Katie is 25 and will be 26 next month. According to various articles, she was born in Dublin, Ireland.
Most of the new layout is up, minus a proper title graphic, which I will wait on since there are so few layout-able pictures! A few things need to be tweaked before I start adding pages. I added videos to the site even though we do not yet have a video page. But I will link them here. there are three clips from last night’s episode, as well as a video clip of the opening credits, which was on the BBC site but could not be viewed by people outside the UK, and a preview clip of next Saturday’s episode. The clips are all in WMV format and need to be unzipped. Please let me know if they are not working! Please credit the site if you use them elsewhere.
Hello, everyone. I finally managed to see the very first episode of Merlin! I thought it was very good. As for Katie, she had a few scenes. I added over 100 screen captures of Katie from the episode to the gallery and will upload video clips very soon. I also added screen captures of Katie’s name in the opening credits (nothing of her, unfortunately) and captures from next week’s episode preview. The video of that will be up soon as well.
As for the site itself, I am currently changing the layout to a new WordPress theme. Please be patient as things might look a bit off for the next little while.
Another update! I have a lot to catch up on. Wizard2576 from the Merlin 2008 Forums kindly let me use scans from the Merlin feature in the new issue of Radio Times (Tuesday, September 16). The magazine also has a new promotional picture of Katie, as well as a behind-the-scenes picture from what appears to be the first episode.
