I added screen captures from tonight’s episode. I also added captures from the preview for next episode, entitled “The Gates of Avalon.” As well, I found a video from the official site with Angel Coulby and some behind the scenes footage of Merlin. Katie appears briefly near the end.
Here is information on the Merlin Volume 1 DVD, which contains the first six episodes. According to Amazon.co.uk, it will be released November 24, 2008. I added what appears to be the final DVD cover to the gallery, as well as a new picture of Morgana from the official site. As well, the press release for episode 9 is also up. Spoilers as usual! Screen captures from today’s episode coming soon.
I made screen captures of Katie is yesterday’s episode of Merlin. Unfortunately, she wasn’t in it very much. The good news is that the next two episodes look like Morgana is going to be an important character. The press release for episode 8 was just released. You can read it here, but beware of heavy spoilers. I also added screen captures from The Paul O’Grady Show‘s behind-the-scenes feature on the show, as well as captures from the episode 6 preview.
I found four new stills of Katie as Morgana in episode 6 of Merlin. They are medium quality, so I hope the official site releases HQ ones later on.
This might be of some interest to Canadian fans or Canadians interested in watching the show. The channel CTV has acquired and secured rights to air the show in 2009. Although we do get NBC, which will also air the Merlin, it is nice to know we aren’t being left out! You can read the whole article if you are interested.
Prepare to fall under the spell of Merlin. CTV announced today it has secured the exclusive Canadian broadcast rights to the widely sought-after hit series from FremantleMedia Enterprises.
CTV joins some of the world’s leading broadcasters, including NBC in the United States, that have acquired the highly anticipated series, which just debuted to critical and ratings acclaim on the BBC.
Clips from episode 4 have been added to the videos page. I also added a scene I missed yesterday while capping the episode, so there are a few more screen captures in the gallery.

As 2008 winds down, MovieScore Media are seemingly cranking up their release schedule as a shed-load of albums are planned for release in the coming weeks. Most exciting of all for viewers of the BBC’s must-see Saturday night TV epic Merlin, is an album of music from the first three episodes of the stunning series. British composer Rob Lane is responsible for the swirling, majestic and exciting score, which marks yet another fine small screen turn from the man behind the scores for Elizabeth I, Jane Eyre and Longford.

I was surprised to find the first episode of The Roaring Twenties available for viewing on Youtube on this channel. Be warned that a lot of the subject matter is very crude and Katie is in only a few scenes. More episodes are promised to follow but I have no idea if Katie is in them or not. She plays a goth exotic dancer named Vixen. I added fuzzy, Youtube-quality screen captures to the gallery. I will keep an eye for better-quality video, but I hope what we have will do for now!
